MTV have just announced that the hotly anticipated video to the Shuga: Love Sex Money  soundtrack, also going by the same title 'Shuga' will be released this Friday 16th of March 2012.

There have been increasingly vocal concerns as the first four episodes of Shuga: Love Sex and Money aired, that the series does not reach out to the less oppulent in society. Fans of Shuga followed the lives of mostly upmarket Nairobi youth with lavish lifestyles and exclusive social circles.

The leading series on our television screens at the moment has to be MTV's Shuga: Love Sex Money which has captured the attention of numerous young and urban youth in Kenya.

what you may not know is that MTV released a sister project to the first series of Shuga, known as Tribes.

As weeks go by, the Shuga fever gets hotter and hotter, affecting more people by the day. Ghafla!Kenya always keeps you updated on any Shuga progress and that's exactly what we'll keep doing.

MTV Shuga has been going round the country in a series of premieres that kicked off from right here in Nairobi on the 10th of Feb 2012 and saw subsequent releases in Mombasa #ShugaInTheSun and Eldoret #ShugaEldy.

The Eldoret series that took place earlier this week was star studded with local celebrities from the area, and we have the pictures to prove it.

Shuga: Love Sex and Money is all the rave on local television channels as MTV released to us their sequel to the hugely successful first season.

Do you know one of those Shuga moments?... No, really. This ain't one of those "that ...moment" jokes. I am talking about the actual Shuga moment... yesterday evening... MTV.

The lights were scathingly bright, cameras were in countless and the action was ready and set to take place at the first MTV event in Nairobi since the MAMAs and the MTV Base Launch a couple of years back.

They did a great collaboration of artistes across Africa to come up with this wonderful song,
