Three members of one of the finest gospel groups in the country, Adawnage, have gotten engaged over the last year. Coming off winning Group of the Year at the 2012 Groove Awards, the group members have inched a step closer towards marriage.
One of the groups members, Frank Muriuki, engaged his girlfriend (not a band member) last year. The group's lead singer, Roselyn Kaki Mwihaki also recently got engaged to her boyfriend (not a band member) who--rumor has it--works in the airline industry. Kaki also recently had a ruracio. Another band member, Robert Njuguna, proposed to his girlfriend a few weeks ago during a gig in Mombasa. Frank and Kaki's weddings are set to take place later this year while Robert's will take place early next year.
The band has released one album, Safari, and have seen two of their tracks, Uwezo and Safari blaze the gospel music scene. They have also been nominated for the Africa Gospel Music Awards to be held in London next month.
