Top 5 Most Successful Young Artistes

So here’s a list of the top five most successful young (below 21 years) artistes in the Kenyan music scene.

The just concluded Channel O Music Video Awards saw most of Africa's greatest artistes perform on stage infront of thousands of fans and celebrities during intervals in between awards.

I hate to admit it but i was wrong!

Kenya was well represented at the Channel O Music Video Awards with nominations for Camp Mulla, Wyre and Habida and more nominations for Kenyan acts who were featured in other country's songs like Sauti Sol and Madtraxx.

In the end, only one Kenyan act won: Sauti Sol for their collaboration in Tanzania's AY's I Don't Wanna Be Alone. Check out the full CHOMVA winners' list below.

You see them do big things in the music scene but these guys are also human. Recently, Camp Mulla was hosted on Capital FM’s Breakfast show, Capital in The Morning, and one of the teen group members, Mykie Tuchi, revealed something quite chilling that most (if not all fans) do not know about.

Camp Mulla are heading to South Africa for the Channel O Music Video Awards in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Camp Mulla Lose Out on Yet another Award

Teen hip hop group Camp Mulla has once again missed out on another major award that could earn it the “bragging rights” in Africa. After failing to clinch Nigeria’s Headies Awards in the African Artiste of the Year, the group has once again been beaten to the MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards.

Kisima Awards: The Good & The Bad

In the run up to Kisima, there was some skepticism over the gala considering
all the artistes that had dropped out of the show. What was supposed to be a
grand celebration of the annual show's 10th anniversary started looking like its
worse start ever.
