You've probably been thinking that Kenyan doesn't have professional beatboxers. Well, you thought wrong. We indeed have one who has been doing it for quite some years now and is actually very good at it.

You might be familiar with the best beat boxer, and basically the only one that's famous for it here in Kenya, Checkmate Mido. This is a man of many talents as he has proven both on and off the set.

So earlier in the month i had the pleasure of hosting Checkmate at the Ghafla offices.

Earlier today, we were humbled by a visit from one of the best poets who also happens to be a professional actor and a very good beat boxer. Talk about being multi-talented. This guy comes with the whole package. Did I mention that he is also into music?
