Readers have been pressing us for more information as to what exactly happened leading upto the concerned celebrity, Shaffie Weru, being given a time out off the pitch.

Well according to sources, the radio personality was allegedly intoxicated during the awards ceremony and began disrupting the goings-on on the pitch. Bouncers confronted him trying to control the situation but things seemed to get out of hand as Shaffie persisted and ended up being roughed up, particularly by one of the security agents, known as Moli.

In what seemed to be a confirmation of being kicked out of the Nakuru Athletics club, Shaffie posted on his twitter feed that weekend:

There were massive speculations as to the authenticity of the photo. We'd like to state that Ghafla! doesn't use gossip as its source, but bases stories on fact. We tried to contact the radio personality to confirm the authenticity of the image and whether or not he was kicked off, but he declined to comment: including both on and off radio.
