One of the most recognizable Kenyan comedians, Walter Mong'are a.k.a Nyambane is headed to the U.S. for a comedy show. He will perform at the Palace in the Square on the 4th of July (Independence Day) for a benefit show in support of mothers in Africa. The show is titled Nyambane Mwambie 2.
Nyambane gained fame in the early 2000s as part of the Redikyulass comedy trio together with Tony Njuguna and John Kiarie. He later went on to become one of the top media personalities as a presenter on Kiss 100's Breakfast Show, one of the country's highest rated radio shows, with Caroline Mutoko.
The show is presented by DJ Mnahty in association with Stand Up for African Mothers, AMREF, Kilimanjaro Entertainment with Mongare's own Altimate Management and the Ukay Center Forex Bureau. More details can be found on the Kenya 411 Website.
