Rush, a programme about the lives of four young women, is set to be launched soon. It will follow their lives, relationship woes and daily struggles. Think "Sex and the City" meets "Shuga."

The main cast comprises of singer/ radio host Patricia Kihoro, who plays Nana, a 28 year old editor of the Rush magazine, singer Wendy Kimani as a lawyer, 29 yer old Frida, Ayok, 29, a photographer, and Koki, 30, a  housewife.

"It's an exciting and entertaining storytelling experience aimed at empowering a new generation of young African women to live the fabolous life," says the show's co-producer Brian Msafiri.

"Several stations have showed interest to air it, but there is nothing concrete yet. We are also still looking for more sponsors as it costs Sh 1.5 million per episode due to quality. We are glad cosmetic company L'Oreal has come on board," added Msafiri.

A ten minute pilot on Vimeo shows some intimate scenes with the characters dealing with issues like mpango wa kando, shopping addictions and being the other woman. You can catch a glimpse of the pilot episode in the window below. Drop a comment and tell us what you think.
