He started singing in the late '90s as a praise and worship leader in church. He went on to rework the famous Luo gospel song, Taya. He made his first mark in the industry in 2001 when he did Ukilya Moko jointly with Shammah. More than a decade later, he is still going strong in the gospel music industry.
Mbuvi recently released a single, Wewe Mkuu together with a video late last month. The singer is mostly known for his upbeat track, Kwata Kawaya, which gets heavy rotation in clubs despite being a gospel song. Below you can check out a message about his album launch at the end of the video
