Award-winning radio presenter Mzazi Willy M. Tuva celebrates an important milestone today. It's been seven years since he entered the studio to host one of the most acclaimed shows on radio today, Mambo Mseto.

On the special occassion, he explained how he got on air, which was, apparently, not planned:

And on why he created the format the show has used over the years, "Hakukuwa na show ya muziki ya East Afrika, basi nikapata idea ya kuifanya."

Mambo Mseto has gone on to spawn a television show, Mseto East Africa, which airs from 4:45 every weekday on Citizen TV. Happy birthday, Mambo Mseto. Here's to many more years supporting the region's music industries.
