Last weekend as the rest of Nairobi moved to Nakuru and Mombasa for Smirnoff’s ‘The Night’ and rugby tournament respectively, those who stayed behind also had something to smile about courtesy of Coca Cola.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have just received wind that Jua Cali, stablemate Mejja and Grandpa Records DNA are set to perform at the launch of this year's edition of COPA Coca-Cola on the 27th of April.

Top Artists Release Another Peace Song

Kenyan artists have decided to preach peace before and after elections and they are using their strongest tool; music. Already, gospel singers Rufftone and Jimmy Gait as well as Nyota Ndogo have each done songs that promote peace urging Kenyans to maintain serenity during the electioneering period.

The Transparency International 'I run for Integrity' concert happened during the weekend at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru. This was huge as the photos clearly show.

Following Pilsner's King of Bold rebranding supported by on-tour performances by the Prezzo, Abass Kubaff, Bamboo, Wyre, Juliani, Jua Cali and Madtraxx, newly launched Pilsner League of Kings Pool Challenge is replicating the experience.

A concert to promote integrity will take place this Saturday, 16th February at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru. The event takes place between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Baba Yao was at the Kenya Power Charity Cup Concert last Saturday (2nd February) at Kasarani.

Calif Records are known for giving away music for free, their principle being that the resulting exposure for an artist would be good for them getting shows and other contracts. It is also very hard to get Kenyans to buy music, since they are addicted to sites like Tubidy and Waptrick.
