Actress and model, Brenda Wairimu, has for the past one month been posting updates with the hashtag #BBB as she counts down to something she will share on the 1st of February.

Oh my! It was crazy. It was hilarious. Apart from the fact that our Uncle Chim Tuna forgot about Brenda Wairimu's sex scene on Shuga, she actually had to remind him of it, everything else was... should I say... revealing.

Kenya may remember the concept of drama broadcast on radio thanks to the 80s and 90s broadcasts on Voice of Kenya and KBC Radio. Well, after a long hiatus, radio drama is back with a big bang in the form of Shuga Radio, a series that will span 12 weeks and is the follow-up to the hugely successful television drama Shuga: Love Sex and Money.

We all have those little or major things which push us the extra mile and celebrities are not that different when it comes to a defining and go-get moment.

Having played so many roles in a diverse number of both local and international productions, one may fear that the likes of Nancy Wanjiku may lose her identity and suffer from a 'celebrity complex' feeling a height above the rest.

You may have thought that the Shuga episodes were over with the culmination of the last chapter #ShugaMoney adn the story of characters Angelo and Kipepeo, but then came the surprise.

Shuga: Love Sex Money is following in the footsteps of its predecessor, already being nominated for international awards, the first of which being contention for the 2012 One World Media Award in the Drama category.

The One World Media Awards is one of the foremost Awards events in the UK and rewards the most outstanding media coverage of the developing world. According to its website, it also recognises the unique role of journalists and filmakers in bridging the divide between different societies and raising awareness of vital development issues.

This year's Awards mark 25 years of charitable work by One World Media. Other competitors for the Drama Award, alongside Shuga: Love Sex Money are CANANA's Miss Bala and Cinga Production's Otelo Burning. The 2011 winner of the category award was British Channel 4's The Promise.

The awards ceremony will be held at King's Place in London on the 8th of May 2012.
