She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in India and she had to come back to Kenya for a 4 month chemotherapy treatment.
Janet Kanini Ikua beat all odds to triumph over the deadly disease and she has Doctors Beyond Borders and her unwavering faith to thank.
The NTV N-Soko Property Show host explains Doctors Beyond Borders helped her seek medical assistance in India.
She however says her faith was what kept her going even when all odds were against her; she suffered blood clot, stomach pains (her stomach were full of injections holes.) and plus the statistics about stage four cancer we not favorable to her.
“I would really just try to ignore what the body say because that’s all what faith is all about. Ignore what reality is telling you and believe in what you can’t see, believe in something better.” Janet explained.
