Why APASS wrote Didadada.

We may all be fans of Apass popular hit, Didadada. The song took the nation by storm, because f its amazing lyrical content. The beats move us too, and very many people have done the challenge once or twice. The brains behind the song shared with us the story. Maybe we too can create our own Didadada. Read below;

At school from my P 7 to S 5 I always had girls I liked/loved/crushed on but I would fear to tell them, whenever I met them I would start telling fake stories of how the sun is shining so bright these days, how there is so much kavuyo/chaos at the canteen etc My heart would beat so fast and I change my message to funny stuff and I would calm down.

I also had a feel of them not sticking with me if they liked me back. I thought they would play me just like a piano ? like Di da da da ? so i always feared to express myself. I was so scared of failing and I also had a feeling that the girl would tell her friends what I said to her and they would laugh at me in the dormitory. But as time went on i gained confidence and started expressing myself naye ela ensonyi mwezili entono ??? That’s why I wrote and produced #Didadada
