Shaffer Chimere Smith is a proud daddy to two adorable kids, Mason Evan Smith (age 3) and Madilyn Grace Smith (age 4).

But Ne-Yo isn’t married. As a matter of fact, he has been battling with his baby mama, Monyetta Shaw, over custody of their two children.

Just like any caring dad would do, Ne-Yo filed a lawsuit demanding full custody and legal recognition as his two children’s father.

The presiding judge ruled in favor of Ne-Yo in regard to recognition. He’s yet to become his kid’s full custodian.

Ne-Yo’s son, Mason Smith, completely took after his celebrity daddy. The smile, the lips, he is another Ne-Yo in the making.
