It’s Nairobi residents that benefit when the likes of Mike Sonko, Jaguar and now Joe Kariuki keep on dashing to the rescue of the underprivileged.

Of late, multi-millionaire and music pundit, Joe, has decided to go full-scale in helping the city’s disadvantaged.

Joe recently sprinted to the rescue of the teen who was netted after he jumping State House perimeter wall in an attempt to have a word with the head of state.

Joe once again sprung into action when he got wind of the heartbreaking incident in Langata where two young brothers, Steven Omondi and Tom Okeyo, were electrocuted while taking bath.

The unfortunate incident resulted to the deaths of the two brothers. As if that wasn’t enough torture to the family, the mortuary refused to release bodies of their two sons since they couldn’t settle the bill.

That’s where Joe Kariuki came in handy to facilitate the mourning family breathe a sigh of relief. The millionaire offered to offset the morgue fee and also foot other expenses.

Joe and his Candy Team, an equivalent of Sonko Rescue Team visited the grieving family to console them.
