US-Based Kenyan Producer Lands Grammy Nomination
When they moved to the United States of America seven years ago, the Longombas brothers little expected very good things to come their way so quick and in plenty.
They had moved the Kenyan masses with their hit song Vuta Pumzi, which helped catapult them into the limelight. However, they wanted fresh new challenges elsewhere, away from home.
This is how Lovy and his brother Christian landed themselves in the US, where they quickly embarked on what they loved and cherished most: music.
And now after seven years away from Kenya, Lovy Longomba who plunged himself into producing has been nominated for the Grammy awards.

This is thanks to the Change Your Life song he produced for US-based Australian songbird Iggy Azalea featuring U.S rappere T.I.
In fact Lovy is described as one of the writers of the song which boasts close to 43 million views on you tube.

The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 8, 2015, at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California. The show will be broadcast live by CBS. It is not yet known who will host the ceremony. In all, 83 Grammy Awards will be presented, one more than in 2014.
