Singer Wahu Narrates How The Late Myles Munroe Mentored Her
Myles Munroe’s demise in a plane crash has caught many Kenyans by surprise and left almost everybody wondering how death can strike when least expected.
This perhaps is because Munroe was in Kenya three weeks ago and was hosted by Jeff Koinange in his show on KTN.
However, as fate is, Munroe, together with his wife, daughter and friends perished after a plane they were travelling in hit a crane and came down.
Munroe is a world-wide author and spiritual leader who has inspired many, and among those who build their foundations through his mentorship is Kenyan songbird Wahu Kagwi.
Wahu was taken aback upon learning of Munroe’s demise and took to facebook to express her disbelief as she had attended Munroe’s conference when he was in the country.
This is what Wahu said on how Munroe inspired her:
“Today is indeed a sad day for me. My mentor, Dr Myles Munroe his beautiful wife Ruth and their daughter passed away in a plane crash early this morning. Myles, what can i say….i am who i am today because at the age of 18, i was privileged to watch your DVD on PURPOSE. Your message was a direct answer to my prayer, as i wondered and pondered about why God placed me on this earth. I memorised your teaching, and vowed that i shall aspire to be all i can be. Just the other day i attended your womens conference at JCC, and all i can say is you were indeed a true man of God, a teacher, a mentor to many, and a powerful instrument of God almighty. I don’t know why He has chosen to take you now…but i know you are in a happy place, with the Him. who you preached and loved all your life. Rest in peace, my mentor. Your legacy will live on after you.”
