You Remember Abedi Dotkom’s Dot Com Lady In 2003? Daystar University Student Comes Up With His Own Catchy Wayanza Mang’ondo Version (Audio)
Abedi Dotkom sang one of the songs that then got a lot of credit and massive airplay on radio and television, because many thought that was one of the best songs then.
Today, the song may be an irritation to many, thanks to the revolution that Kenyan music has undergone over time.
However, a Daystar university student has gone ahead to take us back to the old days of the likes of Abedi Dotkom by doing a song dubbed Wayanza Mang’ondo.
Neimer, who studies in Daystar University Kitengela campus says that he was inspired by the way that message was put across in 2003 and wants to bring it home in a different way.
This, however, is not the first time Neimer has done a song. He has before done songs but this is the one that caught our attention.
Sang in Luhya, English and a bit of Kisii, Wayanza Mang’ondo takes us back to the old days when the likes of Abedi Dotkom were the most celebrated artistes of their time.
Neimer has done other songs like Get Down, Party Night and Nani.
