DJ2One2: Hip Hop and Reggae Music Not For Blacks Only

Opinions are good as they help us express best what we feel about something. And they say everybody is entitled to their own opinion as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others.

Radio Maisha’s DJO2One2 has his own too. It seems for the time he has been in the industry he has learnt a number of things about music and the African culture.

In his twitter post, DJ2One2 seems dissatisfied with the fact that Hip Hop and reggae music is only associated with black people. An analysis of his tweets indicates that black people have been made to believe that Hip Hop and Reggae music are made for the blacks.

According to his post, this is detrimental because listeners tend to be selective in what they listen to and this may have adverse effects on the kind of music artists are going to produce to suit the needs of their fans.

DJ2One2 has a clear message to listeners and artists: try diversity in the industry. Be open minded, listen to all types of music and produce all types of music.
