Renowned video and music producer Docta Eddie is respected both in the secular and Gospel industry. This is because his impeccable work has earned him the title of Gospel Music Producer extraordinaire.

We recently spoke to Docta Eddie who let us know that he will be branching off into other forms of music including secular music. So far he has signed 3 artistes, one of whom, I’ve had the pleasure of listening to his music and I can tell you this for free, Kenya’s diamond Platnumz is in the works. He will probably be greater than Diamond even. Yes, he is that good and his music is a blend of Zouk and Bongo.

So why did Eddie decide to branch off into other forms of music? Why did he decide to open up the doors to secular artistes? Was it for the money?

Eddie says that money is not the main reason why he has decided to expand his territory, but the reason is because he plans on opening a recording studio of his own. But he says that his studio will not be too worldly, so do not expected any Pombe/Bhangi ratchetness to come from him
