Just a Band Song Selected For A Hollywood Horror Movie “House at the End of the Street”!

Just A Band broke into the mainstream with quite the splash with their viral video “Ha-He” or as many of you know it, “Makmende Amerudi!” but long before that, they had one of the most dedicated fanbases in the country. Yeah, they are immensely popular and just because you adn’t heard of them doesn’t change diddly-squat! Name for me another band or act that can sell out a concert with only them as the performing artists other than Sauti Sol and Just A Band!

I don’t think even Kidum commands such dedication from his fans! But I deviate. Just A Band (which consists of Bill ‘Blinky Bill’ Sellanga, Daniel Muli, Jim Chuchu and Mbithi Masya) have now caught the attention of Hollywood producers who have decided to put their track in their movie as a score.

The single to be featured is “Huff + Puff” off their album, 82.

The track will feature in the horror movie, House at the End of the Street which stars Jennifer Lawrence. Blink Bill -the group’s frontman said, “Having the song licensed as a soundtrack happened when we were signed to Penya Africa. They signed a deal with a US company that licenses songs for movie soundtracks. It is great that they gave us a shot. What is even cooler was that they gave (the song) a long slot in the movie.”

The movie is about a teenager and her mother who move to a new town and make a gruesome discovery about the house next door. They later learn that the house was the scene of a horrific double homicide, where a young girl killed her parents.
