Nationwide Power Interruptions Scheduled for October 3, 2025

Kenya Power has announced planned electricity interruptions across several counties on Friday, October 3, 2025. The outages, which will run between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in most areas, are part of scheduled maintenance works aimed at improving the reliability of supply.

Nairobi County

  • Parts of Westlands, including 3rd Parklands, Suswa Road, Kusi Lane, Ngao Road, Mpaka Road, Masnaka Road, Ndovu Lane, General Mathenge, and adjacent customers.

Kericho County

  • Sireng Dam, Boror Primary School, Kipsegi, Murotai Primary, and surrounding areas.

Uasin Gishu County

  • Olare, Ngarua, Ainabkoi, Ndanai, Chelachbei, Kapkeno, Kapchorwa, Rukuin, Kaptega, Kewet, Cheboror, and neighboring customers.

Kisumu County

  • Masogo Market, Ombei Market, Onyabiro, Othoo Market, Ngere Market, Ogilo, and adjacent customers.

Kakamega County

  • Khwisero, Mulwanda, Khumsalaba, Emalindi, and neighboring areas.

Murang’a County

  • Kandani Primary, Kandani Secondary, Ndonga Shopping Centre, Githembe Catholic, Githembe PCEA, Githembe Market, and surrounding customers.

Nyeri County

  • Kiawara & Ruirie areas: Kiawara, Lamuria, Bellevue, Kabendera, Ruirie, Kariminu, Tanyai, Nairutia, Mugunda, Ngobit, Kariguini, Mahiga Meru, Matopeni, and nearby customers.

  • Nyaithee area: Nyaithee Coffee Factory, parts of Ithekahuno Village, Karathi, Gathiruini, and adjacent customers.

Meru County

  • Mitungu Market and surrounding areas, including Kithino, Kamujwa, Kithakanaro, Mutiokiama, Maraa Market, Materi Girls, Tharaka Ginnery, Kithatu Coffee Factory, Kithatu Sisters, Kamiguru, Makandune Market, Rikana Primary, Gakurungu, Kauthene, Gakirwe, Mamuru, Rwombo, Kibuka Primary, Gacigogoni, Ithitwe, Gaceero Primary, Kanywee, Manthi Primary, Kathithine, Gimu Farm, Nyomba ya Ethi, Oasis, Muthagene, Karimaiga, Sahara City, Tunyai Market, Tulivu Gardens, and neighboring customers.

Advisory to Customers
