Juliani Opens Up About His Past & Music Career Success

He is undoubtedly one of the top musicians in Kenya right now judging by his music career success. Juliani was recently hosted by renowned financial adviser Aly Khan Satchu on his Mind Speak Show and the rapper opened up about his past and his achievement in music.

Born 28 years ago in Dandora and brought up there, he knew nothing else than the confines of the slum. Having been introduced into music in 2002, Juliani was inspired by his deskmate who used to rap and being a rap music era (with the likes of DMX) , he quickly fit in though he didn’t understand anything but just enjoyed the beat since other guys would nod their heads to it.

Being good in English (Yes, he is) and using his poetry talent, Juliani wanted his music personalized so when he got into music, he did not start recording immediately as he took time to research and learn from other established artistes at the Florida 2000 (F2). And that’s where he was moulded into the great musician he is today.

He would then join Mau Mau & Kalamashaka camp and got on stage for the first time at the Florida 2000 but most people were unable to tell whether his style was reggae or hip-hop. Juliani also explains his entry into Gospel industry. Check the video below;
