Yo might have been following the series of interviews that we have been doing with this very fast rising rapper, JAY A, done by our very own guest interviewer Winnie Kizia. Now, JAY A reveals the crazies.
CRAZY FANS
WINNIE: Any crazy stuff a fan has done?
JAY: So far, I can’t say I’ve had experiences I’d call crazy as such…
WINNIE: Really? The groupie love?
JAY: Let’s just say they’ve behaved themselves….so far, mature crowds. (Laughs) But there is this one
special case…
WINNIE: Ohh, tell me about that special case.
JAY: There’s this girl, she’s my number one fan. I have a fan that got a Tattoo of me on her belly.
WINNIE: Huh? She’s just a fan? With a tattoo of your face, name or what?
JAY: It’s a tattoo of my name she did on her belly; I mean she’s a really loyal fan.
WINNIE: Wow! Still on your fans, do you get intimate with your fans?
JAY: nope, I treat them as fans… Maybe just talking to them and just kicking it with them for a while.
But I keep my boundaries, and I don’t give my personal contacts.
WINNIE: Do you have stalkers? How do you handle them?
JAY: Yeah, and I just play it cool. I cant be mean to them, they are obviously fans just tryna get close
to me. Unless someone gets really crazy, I just paly it cool.
ON DRUGS/ALCOHOL
WINNIE: do you drink/smoke?
JAY: I don’t drink, and I don’t smoke.. I don’t believe in those things. People who use such are mostly
just misguided by the things they see on the international music videos. Don’t get it twisted, I like
what I see in the videos and everything, but I don’t believe you must drink and smoke to have fun.
WINNIE: Does this have anything to do with your religion?
JAY: Not really, it’s not about my religion, coz actually many Muslims drink and smoke.
WINNIE: do you hang out with drunkards?
JAY: Yeah, most of my friends do, but it’s not a must that you get fun by drinking; you can do other
fun stuff and still enjoy yourself. But I don’t mind it when they drink for fun.
WINNIE: Would you date a drunkard? And a smoker?
JAY: I can date a chic who drinks, but would never wife one. A wife material chic has to be behaved,
and just chilled. I am against chics and smoking, it’s the worst thing they can do, I’d rather she drinks;
I cannot stand a smoking chic.
