Video Release: Meet Kenya’s Hottest New Artiste

Yvonne Darcq is planning on taking over the Kenyan music industry with her brand of alternative RnB. Her music is inspired by Aretha Franklin, Macy Gray, Backstreet Boys, Yousou Ndour and The Beatles among others.

On the 6th of this month she released her music video for her single, Suffocating at a star-studded event at The Mayfair Hotel. In attendance: the Headbangerz Entertainment crew, Sanaipei Tande, Wyre, Redsan, Cannibal, Sharama, Camp Mulla’s Taio and Tuchi among others.

Suffocating was directed by Mushking FX who was nominated for a Kisima award this year for his work on Juliani’s Exponential Potential. The video also stars Tusker Project Fame 2 contestant, David. Dar-C-Q records with Headbangerz Entertainment and Suffocating was produced by Dirty Damu. Check out the video below.
