K’Naan now fighting arms trade

Rapper K’Naan is indeed making Kenya and Somalia proud with all his music and everything else that he does in the name of his beautiful continent and ancestral land. He is just one of those guys that never forget where he’s from no matter how big he’s doing it elsewhere.

Coming from a very violent background (Somalia’s wars), K’Naan knows what it really means to have guns on the streets especially in the hands of those that have no discipline and respect for life itself.

This is why he had to do something about it. Something that would help curb arms trade. With this in mind, K’Naan made a documentary that depicts the effects and statistics of selling of arms, titled ‘Twin Bullets‘.
