Amileena Explains Why She’d Cry After Performing on TPF

We recently interviewed Amileena and asked her a few questions about her career so far, life after Tusker Project Fame and even about the role of Bernsoft and Ogopa in the making of her latest interview.

We asked her the inspiration behind her song, Shine. She said the song expressed her happiness about finally getting to do what she always wanted to do. “When I was little, I used to tell my brother the only thing I’ll ever regret never being able to do is sing,” she said. She further explains how she felt the first time she got on the Tusker Project Fame stage and why she cried after. “Oh my God, I’m doing what I’ve always wanted to do, everything I always dreamed of.” And on her first time on the TPF stage, “That was epic.”

Amileena, who describes herself as a Neo-soul singer, finished fourth on the fouth cycle of the reality talent competition, Tusker Project Fame and has since released a couple of singles, including Shine and Hodi with Collo. Check out the rest of the interview below.
