Jaguar: Shame on the artistes with the hate speech songs

Jaguar has more than once dismissed claims of making music with aim of supporting and campaigning for politicians. He still stands firm with his decision to stay away from political matters.

His latest song, Matapeli, which has the video coming out soon, tells it all as it illustrates his feelings towards politicians and their ways, despite his close relationship with Mike Mbuvi ‘Sonko’.

Asked by sources about his opinion towards the two Gikuyu artistes who were arrested over hate speech, this is what he had to say, “Why should I record a song in praise of the same people who never care about us after elections? Saddened by the musicians singing hate songs against other communities instead of singing to unite all tribes remembering what happened in 2007 shame on them.”
