Sauti Sol Featured in Dutch Newspaper

Sauti Sol appeared on the pages of a Dutch newspaper yesterday. The Afro soul musicians tweeted the photo of the article they featured in. The group is in the Netherlands to promote their latest Spoek Mathambo-produced, self-titled EP. They will perform at the MC Theatre later today and shoot a couple of videos for singles of the Sauti Sol EP.

This is not the first time the group have had articles about them in Dutch newspapers. Below is a photo of the cover of a Dutch newspaper from back in 2009.

Sauti Sol is made up of Bien-Aime Barasa and Willis Chimano on vocals, Delvin Mudigi is a vocalist and drummer while Polycarp Otieno plays the guitar. The band performed at this year’s South by South West Festival and Big Brother’s eviction show earlier this month. Sauti Sol have previously gone to the Netherlands to promote new material, perform in shows and shoot videos.
