Nonini Supports Students Living with Albinism

The Genge godfather Nonini (real name Hubert Nakitare) has taken his philanthropy to the next level with his Colour Kwa Face campaign, an effort focused at helping students with albinism get access to skincare products.

Nonini and his Colour KwaFace Campaign visited Thika Primary School for the Blind recently with the Prohabo Team (Mwihaki Lilz, Catherine, Ngash Mtrue), Big Ideas (Willie Owusu and Aleks Kamau), Kisara, Ronny, Sound Team and an A.S.K representative to specifically donate sunscreen lotion to these students with Albinism.

Children living with albinism are more susceptible to skin cancer as the suns ultra-violet rays penetrate through their skin. Hence for people living with albinism, sunscreen lotion is a matter of life and death. Sadly, however, not all people living with albinism are fortunate enough to get access to such skin care, which is why Nonini is motivated to help lobby their cause through his music and Colour kwa Face Campaign.

It was a special day for the Kids because they got to mingle with there favorite celebrity the godfather as he performed for them but the motivational talk was what they will live to remember. But for Nonini distributing the sunscreen lotion and just putting a smile on the children’s faces was all he needed on the day which was also special to him because it was his late brother Jude Mwinduko’s birthday.

To Support the Cause this phenomenal Kenyan artist is, buy a Sunscreen lotion and inbox Nonini or even write on his website and he will come collect it from you…
