BMF Member Regrets Spending So Much Time In Entertainment

In a ‘Back to School’ interview with the Eve Gal magazine, BMF member Freddie today said that if he could go back to his high school days, he would focus more on books and spend less time in entertainment. Here is the full interview:

 

1. Education is?

Freddie: Power.

 

2. What sports or club were you in?

Freddie: I played soccer.

 

3. If I could go back to my high school days I would?

Freddie: Focus more on books and spend less time in entertainment.

 

4. The last time I studied for an exam was?

Freddie: The final year when I was sitting for my O levels.

 

5. As a student your favourite class was?

Freddie: History. I loved learning about history and I always scored an ‘A’

 

6. What sort of student were you?

Freddie: I was a saved dreamer. I dreamt of being a role model and to affect the lives of people positively.

 

7. Best high school memory?

Freddie: When Joe Aketch, the deputy mayor of Nairobi, then came to our school and took me to Grand Regency hotel for lunch. It was the first time I went to a five star hotel.

 

8. Worst high school memory?

Freddie: When I came late to school and was forced to kneel down near the entrance gate, corporal punishment was not my thing.

 

9. Most influential teacher?

Freddie: Mrs. Okumu, she taught history, she made learning fun. She was articulate and made our ribs crack.

 

10. What was your dream career growing up?

Freddie: I wanted to do computer engineering.
