Do We Have a Truly ‘Kenyan Beat’?

A radio station based in the Netherlands is looking to ways of conserving and preserving the global environment in a unique way.

The radio station, Earth Beat, seeks to reach out to its audience in a different way than its weekly show. They believe that every country has its own unique beat and they want to hear from every one what their unique national beats are. The started off with India last month adn in this month of April, they are looking for ‘the beat of Kenya’.

Participation is open to absolutely everyone and all you have to do is upload your beat. Just record a beat – audio and video are both possible – and upload it on the Earth Beat’s Facebook Page, together with the story behind it.

The rules of participation are also very simple and straigh forward:

Beats can be uploaded in various formats. They must be a minimum of 20 seconds and a maximum of 3 minutes long.

Supported audio-formats: MP3, WAV, WMA and AIFF.
Supported video-formats: MPEG, MP4, WMV, AVI and MOV.

Audio or video containing strong language, nudity or other offensive content will be deleted immediately.

Multiple entries are allowed, with a maximum of five per month, per contestant.

All submissions must be original work and not infringe on anyone else’s copyright. Doing so will result in exclusion.

It’s your chance to be famous and have your music, as the beat of Kenya, featured across the globe.
