Let’s practice sensitive journalism

Talented One FM presenter Adelle lost her mum, Mary Onyango this past weekend, but the saddest part was that a journalist

wanted to interview her the same day when she lost her hero.

Adelle twitted that she wouldn’t let journalists turn what she’s under going to a scoop, of which I agree with her.

She termed this as irresponsible journalism. The journalist who wanted to interview her should have been considerate because losing one’s parent is a very painful experience.

We at Ghafla Kenya send our heartfelt condolences to Adelle and her family. May the Lord give you strength at this difficult time.  Rest in peace Mary Onyango.
