Ahem! Bomet Governor, Isaac Ruto and the three fire fighting engines he bought are the subject of ridicule on social media.

Kes 21 million is what the good Governor spent to purchase 3 Indian-made Tata trucks which have been converted to fire fighting trucks.

The sorry state of the new trucks is what attracted laughter, mockery and fury from Kenyans who think the Governor is an intelligent joker.

The Tatas look like they were just welded somewhere in Kariobangi and transported for 5 days to Bomet County.

Hon. Isaac Ruto has however rubbished the troll on social media saying the trucks are best suited for the terrain in Bomet.

“Sorry for the wrong information circulating in the social media about the Fire Fighting Trucks and equipment.We purchased three of them at KES 7M each and it will be supported by 6 15,000L water bowsers. The trucks are well suited for Bomet’s terrain.And budget.”
