President Uhuru Kenyatta Repeats What Got Sauti Sol’s Bien Scorned When He Met Obama (Photos)

When Obama came to Kenya three weeks ago, Sauti Sol’s life and status changed. The group got massive recognition across the globe after they were invited to perform for Obama at State House, Nairobi.

Everybody talked about Sauti Sol and their fame. But there was criticism too from some quarters. And this criticism was particularly directed to Bien.

There was this lady who accused Bien of lacking decorum and respect after he was pictured hanging on Presidents Obama and Uhuru’s shoulders after the two leaders had enjoyed their Lipala dance.

The lady felt that Obama and Uhuru were too special to be treated by Bien like that. So she ranted and bashed.

Some came to the defense of Bien, with comedian Obina particularly raging at the lady and telling her off.

And days after this incident, President Uhuru Kenyatta has repeated the same in the same place where Bien hang on their shoulders.

The President was meeting beneficiaries of the Equity African Leaders Program at State House alongside his wife Margaret Kenyatta.
