Citizen TV’s Hussein Mohammed Is To Be Blamed For Prompting Moses Kuria To Storm Out Of Live TV Interview (Video)

Yesternight there was drama on Citizen TV’s The Big Question interview after Gatundu South legislator walked out on Hussein Mohammed.

Hussein is one of the finest interviewers the country boasts of, but last night something went terribly wrong during live TV interview with Gatundu South MP.

While many were quick to lynch Moses Kuria for storming out of Citizen TV after only lasting 11 minutes on screen, his interviewer should also shoulder part of the criticisms.

There is always two sides of a coin, there is the part where the dishonorable MP lost his cool and where Hussein couldn’t read through the lines to lower the temperature.

If you analyze the clip, you will notice the Citizen TV anchor kept insisting on playing the video that showed the Gatundu South lawmaker hurling dangerous words.

Obviously Kuria didn’t want the clip to be played and since Hussein Kept on pounding him, there was no way tempers couldn’t flare up.

As the one in charge of navigating the interview, Hussein ought to know how to make his interviewee feel at ease and milk him dry at the appropriate time.

If only he wouldn’t have insisted on playing the clip, probably Moses wouldn’t have walked out on him. It wasn’t a must for him to show the video at the beginning of the interview, he could still play it later on when Kuria wasn’t in a mood to throw punches.

There are a million ways of catching rodents, Hussein’s tactic FAILED, terribly. He ought to have employed an approach that would nail Kuria without making him lose his cool.

You don’t invite a guest to your house then immediately you start bombarding him with itchy words. You first make him feel at home then afterwards go straight to the pressing issue. That way the guest won’t have an excuse of storming out.

Enough said, see the 60 seconds interview below:
