Yesterday the US slapped Kenya witha travel advisory but they were quick to confirm the much awaited Obama’s visit to Kenya remained on course.

Later on in the day, news broke about the staggering number of boots that will be on ground to make sure Obama is out of harm’s way.

There will be a total of 13,000 officers on ground to protect Potus. That’s more than half the number of all soldiers serving in Kenya military. Global fire power indicates that Kenya has 24,120 active frontline personnel.

Sources indicate at least 800 Secret Service agents will be accompanying President Obama to Kenya. They will be backed up by 2000 other officers who will be providing direct security to Obama.

10,000 other officers will be babysitting, making sure the crowd is kept in check. Sources also indicate Secret Service agents and 1000 officers drawn from elite Kenyan security organs are already combing areas Obama is expected to visit.
