Talanta Awards Launches In Kenya! Details.

Talanta  awards was started by Margret Waruri in July 2008 as a platform that brought together talented Individuals under one umbrella where they would be nurtured by a team of  experienced personnel to be better individuals to grow up as wholesome individuals to carry on the mantel of leaderships to the next generation.

 Saturday 25th April, Talanta awards held an event at the Tintin restaurant, Kicc, an joyous event of praise, worship and a competiotion that saw a recently graduated student from the university of Nairobi bag the top award- the award will see her attend future mentor ship at the Us as well as getting  support from Talanta Awards. In addition to bagging accolades, the top 5 who showcased their talent at the event have already recorded a hit song with J Blessing, a world renown music producer. The video of the song will be released this week. 

The founder, Margret Waruri gave a heartrending speech to an intrigued audience, she made an appeal for new partners to join the the worthy cause in helping nurture a community of God-fearing individuals. 

“There is a place in Talanta Development Inc. for everyone including but not limited to community leaders, pastors, young, old and the general community to contribute and actively engage in the well being of our community and generations to come. Identifying, nurturing and developing talents in our people is a community responsibility whose success can only be achieved in unity. By combining the cultures of the two countries, we all stand at an advantage to bring out the very rich potentials that define us as Africans. As we promote talents among us, we also are remotely promoting Africa as ambassadors in Diaspora being the first point of contact with our host communities; this is a diplomatic expression. When we appreciate these potentials it is a call placing them to a place of responsibility, working harder, aiming higher, do better as role models. Anyone who has ever been on Talanta platform and taken the challenge that came with the opportunity is now soaring in their areas of passion to the glory of God. Serving our generation supersedes the glitz and glamor the mandate of the Vision”
