All You Need To Know About the Nigerian Pastor Linked To the Former Lawyer Paul Magu Who Brutally Murdered His Wife and His 3 Children in an Alleged Satanic Ritual
Paul Magu’s death is without a doubt one of the eeriest deaths we have witnessed in recent times. His suicide and his family’s brutal murder have led to many think that he practiced occult or was in a religious cult.
Magu was said to be a follower on Nigerian pastor TB Joshua who boasts of a cult like following. Attention was turned to TB Joshua and he came out to clear his name accusing the media of spreading bad rumors about him and asking Kenyans why they hate him so much.
I did some digging on this televangelist and what I found was rather interesting. Here are some facts about TB Joshua:
- Paul Magu’s death is not the first death he has been linked to. In September this year, At least 130 people including 67 South Africans were killed when a guest house belonging to the televangelist collapsed in Lagos .Experts claim that the reason why the building collapsed was because the foundation could not accommodate the floors that had been added in the guest house.
- In May 2013, he promised his followers free ‘holy water’ which resulted to 4 deaths and left 30 injured after a deadly stampede at his Church.
- He heads the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) which he founded in 1987 and owns Emmanuel TV, a 24 hour Christian television network which was also founded by him.

- In 2011, he was named one of Nigeria’s richest pastors by Forbes magazine. His estimated net worth was between 10 million – 15 million dollars. A lot of his money also goes to help the needy in terms of Education, healthcare, rehabilitation programmes.
- He has a massive following of 1,467,497 on Facebook and his regular Sunday services in Nigeria boasts of 15, 000 people in attendance.

- Apart from his 15,000 attendees he also has churches in Ghana, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and Greece.
- It is said that he is close friends with the late Ghanaian President Atta Mills probably because he predicted his electoral triumph in Ghana in 2009.
- He has authored three books namely The Mirror, The Step Between You And The Cure, Daily Time With God, What The Future Holds
- He is said to have predicted Michael Jackson’s death, of Malawi’s former president Bingu wa Mutharika, François Hollande’s ascension to the French throne.
- He is said to cure people from afflictions like AIDS, cancer and infertility
