Kenyan Model Claims She Created ‘The Goteana’ Show On Ghetto Radio. But Is That The Truth?

Ruby Tonia is barely known for hosting the Goteana Show on Ghetto radio alongside Mbusii but she is mostly known for a modeling agency named Ruby Blue agency and her debut as a Ghafla Girl.

Speaking to Pulse on Friday, Ruby made a shocking claim that made me sit up from the slouching position I was in. This young girl audaciously claimed that she created the Goteana show on Ghetto Radio after Maji Maji spotted her and gave her a job at the station.

However as it turns out, Ruby is taking credit for a show she NEVER created, in fact she was nowhere in the math when it came to creating Goteana.

Goteana show was actually created by Mwafreeka (Mwaf) and fine tuned by the Super Producer Dee Diamond in the Ruff, Mbusii and Angie Wangeci who is currently a newscaster on 1FM.

Angie was in charge of Goteana’s imaging and branding and was also a News Anchor, official female station voice who was fondly referred to as Air hostess Angiosis .

The name emanated from the now popular Signature intro for the show A.I.R G.O.T.E.A.N.A Flight GR 895, that begun with” Ladies and Gentlemen this is your Captain speaking.”

The intro was conceived and scripted from scratch and packaged by the ever talented Angie Wangeci and packaged super producer Dee Diamond in the Ruff.

Mbusii was also very instrumental with his input to the show not forgetting the creator of the show then station manager Mwafreeka Mwaf.Super producer Dee was also Goteana’s first presenter, Ruby came in much later and wasn’t on air for more than 2mnths.

In conclusion, this team is the one that created “the Goteana flight” and not Ruby Tonia.I think it’s only fair to give credit to those who slaved away to make this show what it is.
