The Exploits, Achievements, Lows And Highs Of Activist Bonface Mwangi (Video)

He has been roughed up before for shouting down The President. He has been beaten mercilessly, tortured and abused. These and many more are some of the lows that the activist has faced in his life.

He has highs too. Like those awards he has won before for painting the true picture of Kenya during the post-election violence that threw this country into limbo.

He did not stop there. Bonface Mwangi is remembered for heckling President Mwai Kibaki when he was giving a speech at Nyayo National stadium in a public holiday celebration.

He was roughed up by the president’s body guards, dragged out of the stadium and what happened to him after that we cannot tell.

But these and many more low moments did not break this activist. Instead, he has gone from strength to strength to champion for the rights of the minority and the oppressed.

Recently, he was seen in skirt protesting against stripping of women by perverted me in the streets of the capital.
