Kenyans Maul Ole Lenku On Social Media Following His Firing (Photos)

After the vicious Mandera massacre that claimed around two dozen lives, the Al-Shabaab extremists hit again, this time massacring 36 quarry workers in Mandera County.

The country was ill at ease and we all knew at some point heads will roll. And yesterday they did with Ole Lenku the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government sent packing.

This was after the public and the opposition begged for his firing as he could not do the job allocated to him .In defence of Ole Lenku, the guy was good in hotel management and not matters of security. You cannot expect someone who has never dealt with matters of security to do a stellar job is something he has not been trained to do .You cannot judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree! I think the blame should not be on Ole Lenku, but the person who appointed him.
