Yesterday marked a huge day for Kenyan TV; Mohammed Ali and John Allan Namu made a comeback to TV and they came with a bang. They embarked on exposing a pastor who had mastered the art of trickery and robbing naïve Christian faithful who were thirsty for miracles and this expose’ has since gone viral.

It is not the first time Kenyans are hearing of pastor Victor Kanyari and it seems controversy is slowly becoming his other name. KTN too heard of Kanyari reaping big from his faithful in the pretext of performing miracles and thus went undercover to expose the malicious pastor. Mohammed Ali and John Allan Namu investigative has clearly shown how Kanyari is making his millions from his poor congregation who have all become intoxicated by Kanyari’s doctrine.

There is no better way of understanding the real meaning of Karl Marx’s popular phrase “religion is the opium of people’s mind” other than just looking at how Kanyari’s followers quickly defended their pastor when KTN camera crew were caught filming him in the church.
