Meet Milele Fm’s Dynamic Duo: Dr. Ofweneke And Nzula Makosi.
Early morning today I had a rare chance of meeting two voices that are rocking our airwaves, the comedian par excellence, Dr. Ofweneke,who made a joke about my phone being cheap, really Dr? and the curvy salacious queen of the airwaves, Nzula Makosi.
So why call them the dynamic duo yet they don’t do shows at the same time? Well if you are following Dr,prophet Kanyari, you might have a bleak idea in chemistry, you know, how to make blood and needles from nowhere.
The two were together hosting a mid-morning show where they were conducting an exclusive interview on Betty Bayo, The wife of Bishop Kanyari, who had been outsmarted by Jicho pevu a few nights ago. (Details to come)
Shortly after the Milele Fm’s Visit i was talking to my friend at the office, he asked me, how is Makosi? Is she pretty? Does she have a voice for Radio and face that would never make it to TV? Well, she is curvy,pretty and cute in an interesting way, her mellow voice that speaks of a thousand feelings will probably leave you between Nirvana/cloud nine and seventh heaven. She is a case of beauty,voice and brains,Contrary to the traditional notion that Radio presenters have beautiful voices and faces that only mothers could be proud of. “ I am an alumni of Jkuat and Moi…studied Communications and PR. I sing….planning to go full blown.Been in media for over 6 years started at only 18 at the Coast. I also do Communications and PR Consultancy on the side and have an online clothing store…for plus sized women” She Told me.
Then came in Dr. Ofweneke.
He does not need an introduction, he is witty,smart and insanely funny, the short time that i was in studio with them I had to fight a million urges to laugh out aloud, the dude can make flies laugh! Well, maybe thats a stretch but you got the picture. He is dangerously Funny, before the interview begun, we took time to talk, and he told me that he was in Uganda a week ago, Pablos was celebrating his birthday, out of a million and one comedians in Africa, he chose Dr.Ofweneke and Abel Chungu from Zambia to headline his party.
I had always thought of him as insanely funny, from his dance parody of “Gobe-by Davido” but meeting him in person?
