Alex Chamwada Leaves Citizen TV
After working for almost all the major media houses in the country, Alex Chamwada is also bidding Royal Media Services good bye as he ventures to greener pastures.
Citizen TV’s senior reporter Alex Chamwada is leaving Royal Media Services; Alex yesterday bid his colleagues good bye as he marked his last day at RMS.

Alex began his journalism career at the Kenyan state broadcaster (KBC) and later worked at the KTN before finally moving to Citizen TV. Alex has garnered a lot of skills from his fifteen years of experience in television production and broadcast journalism especially on development journalism and governance reporting. He has reported for Voice of America, CNN and BBC and has been rewarded with local and global recognition.
Alex disclosed he will soon be back on screen with current affairs as an independent content producer. He currently has his own website which he uses to enlighten the society with current affairs. Alex is best remembered for pioneering Kenya’s global reporting on international justice system for struggling democracies in Africa with his unrivaled news story telling on the International Criminal Court (ICC) engagement with Kenya over the 2007 post election violence.
