Julie Gichuru Ignores Her Studio Director And Calls Pastor Kanyari Fake
Every Sunday evening, almost everybody is glued to the screen. Not just a screen but Citizen TV. Not to watch Papa Shirandula or Tahidi High but to watch and listen to one of Kenya’s most decorated TV sirens, Julie Gichuru, as she brings the prime time news.
After days and days of Kanyari on the lips of many Kenyans, Julie Gichuru finally had a word about the preacher who has caused havoc in the republic following his unwanted activities that were clearly exposed by KTN’s Jicho Pevu and The Inside Story.
Live on screen in her every Sunday segment, Net Search, where Julie looks at the topics that have received massive net search, Kanyari’s topic took the top position as the most searched topic on the internet.
As Julie talked about the topic, she added her views about Kanyari, where she called him FAKE and warned Kenyans that they do not need intermediaries to talk to God.
However, Julie was reminded by her director to use the word alleged, a word commonly used when one is a suspect and not proven to be guilty.
Julie, however, stood firm and refused to use the term, insisting that Kanyari is a fake preacher who extorted money from the faithful without their consent.

Is this likely to cause backroom reprimand from the director for Julie? Definitely not. That expose was just but the truth. After all this is not the first time Kanyari has been exposed for his rogue activities.
Some years back, former NTV investigative reporter, Dennis Okari exposed the preacher in an expose titled Seeds of Sin, but the preacher seems to have intensified his activities even more.
