Forget Elani, Forget Camp Mullah, These Are the Guys You Should Be Listening To

Don’t get me wrong, I am not throwing shade at Camp Mulla or Elani, but sweet Buddha, these new guys are good! If heaven was a song, this song would be it.

It crawls up your heart, sends exciting chills down your spine and who can forget about how just sexy the singer sounds. Gives you chills, I tell you.

The song evokes the kind of feeling you feel when it rains and you can hear the raindrops on the roof in the comfort of your own home. It gives you nostalgia; it’s like having an orgasm in your ear. Peeing after being pressed for hours.  Holding your child in your arms for the first time.

And I approve!

Yes it’s that good, and dare I say, it does not sound like Kenyan Music because honestly a lot of what passes for music in this country is utter garbage! Claptrap .Hogwash! And I’m not hating, you know it’s true.

The band is called ‘Mankind’ and the song is called ‘North’ and I thank my colleague Mutuma for introducing me to this gem of a song. Kenyans, prepare to be blown away.
