Huddah Reveals Details About Her Life; She Smoked Weed As A Prescription From The Doctor

Last weekend, socialite and former Big Brother Africa housemate, Huddah Monroe was in Bongo Land ahead of her show in Dar es Salaam. Bongo 5 caught up with her in her hotel where she opened up about her life; past and present. While most people think she is a gold-digger, Huddah bursts their bubble by revealing that she goes for broke men with “rich minds”. She also explains why she used to smoke weed as witnessed in this photo.

Here’s the excerpt of that interview;

On her teenage life

I didn’t pass teenage life. I grew up in a very tough situation back at home so i was forced to come from being a child to an adult so i didn’t pass teenage life to fetch for my siblings and my parents. The streets taught me who i am now.

On dating broke men

I can’t date broke people that’s obvious. I look at someone’s plans in the future and if the person has the foundation for the future that can be something to think of. I don’t want to be with someone who does not know what to do in the future, so that’s what i mean by being broke even mentally.

On how BBA changed her life

My one week stay in the Big Brother house has changed my life because people now in Africa know me. It’s no-longer just in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Now am known in Africa and also my brand has expanded and i’m getting all these kinds of gigs from this place to the other. soon i’m going to do my clothing line which is gonna be in a month time.i haven’t found a name yet but i want it to be a name that no body will never forget whenever they buy they will always talk about it.

On whether she expected to stay for such a short period of time in the BBA
house.

when you are going to the big brother house you don’t expect to stay for a short period of time. Everyone feels like out of a hundred people who went for auditions that they will be chosen. so probably such a thing was in me that is why i felt like i won’t be the first one to leave. But for me i just feel like it was a competition and also my attitude is why they had to nominate me.

On what her attitude is

I have multiple personalities like i meant i don’t like bullshit, pettiness, shadiness all these things. i think that’s the attitude i portrayed, that one of i don’t care, no nonsense when i was there and that’s why they were like “she has to go”.

On her beefing with Diva

she is a beautiful person and when i commented on whatever she tweeted it was in a malicious way, some way you just can’t tweet about people when you have fun is not something you take to the streets. We were not having a fight over a guy so people think and made their own conclusions that we were having a fight over a guy.

On whether she still smokes weed

I used to smoke weed. It was under prescription my doctor had given me but now i don’t smoke weed.

On whether she’s bisexual

I was bisexual. all these things i used to do when i was naive and a girl who didn’t know what she needs in her life but now i’m focused and i want focus in me, so all these things i have put a side.

On loving Diamonds song

Diamond is a very hardworking guy,his sexually appealing, he’s a good loking guy and he is a go getter and scandalous. I like anyone who is scandalous that’s why i was drown to his music because i was like wow, this guy has almost the same sentiments with me. he is a bad boy, iam a bad girl, Diamond congratulations
