Bien Of Sauti Sol Lands A New Job

Julie Gichuru, Wachira Waruru , Caroline Mutoko and other media bigwigs recently landed themselves jobs in various parastatals thanks to an appointment by Uhuru Kenyatta.

But presidential appointments were not the only jobs being dished out this weekend as Bien of Sauti Sol now has a job as a judge.

He will be judging the Tecno Own the Stage competition alongside Yemi Alade and M.I. A competition which you can read about and join here

Speaking at the launch of the competition, one of the judges, foremost Nigerian rapper Mr. Jude Abaga, also known as M.I, said: “The Tecno Own the Stage competition is an exciting development for talented and prospective singers from across Africa. Karaoke, as a form of entertainment has been around for as long as the practice of recording music itself. There a lot of talented individuals who have been waiting for an opportunity to show their talents to the world and Tecno Own the Stage gives them more than an opportunity, but also a platform and befitting prizes to go with it.  I am extremely proud to be a part of the platform that encourages and promotes talent in Africa.”
