Popular Media House Owner Accused Of Leaving His Spouse Hospitalized after Thoroughly Beating Her Up.

A popular media house founder who also doubles up as a producer is currently under fire after allegedly beating his spouse into a pulp.

Enock Anjuri commonly known as Jamal of Tree House Media has been accused of battering his partner Ciru, so seriously, that she ended up at Aga Khan hospital with injuries that include a punctured ear drum! Unlike most battery cases where women are beaten in the confines of their home, Jamal is alleged to have beaten her in a changing room when she was getting dressed for a show they had organized. Apparently the young woman is now lying in hospital after surgery to reconstruct her damaged ear drum.

The accused

Her cousin Karanja Nzisa, took to social media to express his disgust and fury after what Jamal did to his cousin.

  “A cousin of mine; phenomenally talented, beautiful, strong, a mother and a mentor is lying in a hospital bed after having surgery to reconstruct her eardrum which was punctured when her partner Jamal Enock Anjuri (@Farruk Jamal on here – pictured) physically assaulted her. The savage has by his own hand spelled his doom and he has no idea what is coming his way. In some ways I am glad that he chose this particular woman because she has a voice and she jolly well knows how to use it. He runs a media company called ‘Treehouse Media’ and anyone with half a brain should know better than to enter any business or personal transaction with him.

His family then calls for a meeting to discuss ‘a way forward’. I have heard this nonsense one too many times, if you are any respecter of women the only way forward is to call the authorities on your rogue child because if shit like this goes unchecked the next ‘way forward’ meeting you attend will be called by a funeral committee.

Ciro (pictured) will not tire in her quest to seek redress and I will be behind her every step of the way. As my friend Marley Sianto says, if a man is so strong as to strike a woman, he is strong enough to be in a jail cell. I am incredibly proud of the courage she has displayed in the face of this violation and the madness that followed with people cussing her out for ‘overreacting’ and exposing domestic squabbles. Even in our family. Shame on all of you. We need to clean out the swine from our homes.

Karanja says that the matter was reported to Lang’ata police station, but the police apparently said that the woman had to have two witnesses to attest that she was really assaulted. Attempts to reach Jamal proved futile and people on Social media are now coming forward with stories that paint him as a serial batterer.
